  • A Roster a Weekday: Belleville, Illinois. I also took the opportunity to add some information to the page for Belleville's ballpark.
  • Scouting Reports: Dayton and Peoria.
  • We continue to have difficulties with our cable connection. My apologies for any inconvenience; believe me, I'm feeling inconvenienced. (This is being posted from a local bar....)

  • I've begun working over the Scouting Reports. All now show contain team profiles for April; I'll begin doing the player stats and team writeups tomorrow.

  • A New Page! An approximately-complete roster for the 1947 season. These seasonal rosters are actually the basis for the team and organization rosters; since I've finally gotten 1947 into reasonable shape, I'm willing to post it. More will come as I complete them, but I'm not hurrying through this part of the project.

  • Taking a few days off. See you next week.
  • 2008 Scouting Report Updates: Great Lakes & West Michigan. Done! And about time....
April 14
  • 2008 Scouting Report Updates: Fort Wayne & Dayton. The MWL two teams most likely to have entirely new rosters by season's end.
April 12
  • We have a No Hitter! Kane County's Craig Italiano, with help from Branden Dewing. One baserunner; a hit-by-pitch.
  • 2008 Scouting Report Updates: Kane County & Peoria. West Division's done!

  • 2008 Scouting Report Updates: Quad Cities & Burlington. (Iowa's done!)
  • A Roster a Weekday: New York Yankees. Done! Now I need to regroup--and clean up some data problems--before making a second pass at this project. May first is a good guess for Phase II to begin; October first for Phase III.

  • Doesn't look like I'll be updating any scouting reports today; things are pretty busy. I'll get back to that tomorrow. My apologies.
  • A Roster a Weekday: Chicago White Sox.

  • 2008 Updates: Lansing & South Bend. As usual, I begin with the matchup I expect to see next.
  • A Roster a Weekday: Detroit Tigers. This is the first roster which includes all known coaches. The coaching information still needs some cleaning up, but we're gaining....

  • Manager updates. Mostly just the new assignments, but special attention for Jody Davis and Julio Garcia.
  • A Roster a Weekday: Tampa Bay (Devil) Rays. Just two years, and I was a BC season ticket holder, so this one's pretty much done.
