Baseball in BeloitHarry C. Pohlman Field at Telfer Parkoriginally Telfer ParkPohlman Field has hosted the Beloit Snappers of the Midwest League since the team joined the MWL in 1982. The facility was new in 1981. The Pohlman Field name was added for the 1987 season.
Source of Name: Harry Pohlman was a long-time coach in the Beloit school system and in American Legion baseball. He was also an original member of the Beloit Brewers board of directors. |
