The facility was originally named the Kane County Events Center; the name was changed after the 1993 season.
Source of Name: Long-time community leader Philip B. Elfstrom is honored for his efforts to bring baseball to Kane County. Elfstrom is a past president of the Kane County Forest Preserve District, the owners of the facility. |
