Q Stadium hosted the Quincy franchise in the Midwest League from 1960 through 1973. This ballyard was constructed in 1938 at a location, Eagle Park, which had hosted baseball since 1923. It remains in use by Quincy University and by the Quincy Gems of the Central Illinois Collegiate League.

Q Stadium hosted the Midwest League All-Star Game in 1970.

The Midwest League plays Single-A, professional baseball in America's agricultural and industrial heartland. 16 teams play a 140 game schedule which begins in early April and ends Labor Day weekend.
