Midwest League Managers

Manny Acta

One Midwest League season:

Playing Career

  • Drafted/Signed: Astros, free agent, 1987(?)
  • Professional Career: Six years in the Astros organization; spent two seasons at the Double-A level.
  • Midwest League: Played for Burlington in 1991.

Management style

Acta's minor league management style was fairly conventional; he was a bit less likely than most to call for bunts, and his baserunning was somewhat conservative.
