Management styleBialas is perhaps slightly conservative, but in most respects he's been a conventional manager. More than most long-time managers, his habits have adjusted to match changing tactical preferences; for instance, he used to let pitchers finish games fairly routinely, but no longer does so. |

The Midwest League plays Single-A, professional baseball in America's agricultural and industrial heartland. 14 teams play a 140 game schedule which begins in early April and ends Labor Day weekend.
