Playing Career
Management styleAll in all, Bombard's a rather conventional manager. He makes some allowance for the talent at hand, and is usually pretty conservative about letting the guys run. You really can't argue with these results; Bombard's an exceptional manager. Note: My tally seems to be missing five wins and one loss, according to totals published elsewhere. The difference appears to be because I don't include playoff games in my counts. Also: Bombard has long participated in the Venezuelan Winter League; this table clearly does not adequately reflect that. |
