Midwest League Managers

Jody Davis

One Midwest League season:

Playing Career

  • Drafted/Signed: Mets, third round, 1976 (1B-C, Middle Georgia JC).
  • Professional Career: 10 major league seasons, mostly with the Cubs; finished his career in Atlanta.
  • Midwest League: Never played in the Midwest League.

Management style

Davis is rather prone to call for intentional walks, and called for more sacrifices than most managers during his first minor league season.
