Midwest League ManagersGene DusanOne [partial] Midwest League season:
Playing Career
Management styleDusan's teams were extremely aggressive on the basepaths. The 1982 TSN Guide credits Dusan with managing both Lynchburg & Little Falls for the full 1981 season. I've followed Jerry Jackson's lead and omitted the Little Falls record. Any clarification would be welcome. Dusan appears to have retired to Bend, Oregon (he lived there in 1983, according to press coverage of his Mets assignment), where he's an educator. He's currently (2007) on the board of directors for the West Coast Collegiate Baseball League. |
