Playing Career

Signed: Orioles, First Round (January secondary phase; seventh pick), 1976 (Shortstop; University of Miami).
Professional Career: Thirteen professional seasons, eight of those in the majors, mostly with the Orioles and Reds; mostly played at the Triple-A level.
- Krechicki's major league career.
Midwest League: Never played in the Midwest League.

Management style

While Krenchicki was working in the Brewers organization, he was a super-aggressive manager: His guys ran wild on the basepaths, and he was more likely to call for a bunt than almost anyone. His handling of pitchers, in contrast, was pretty conventional.
