Management styleBy any measure, Lezcano's tactical decisions are extremely conservative; his teams don't issue intentional walks, aren't particularly aggressive on the basepaths, and rarely bunt. He does make some allowance for individual talents, and his early teams were fairly aggressive base thieves. |

The Midwest League plays Single-A, professional baseball in America's agricultural and industrial heartland. 14 teams play a 140 game schedule which begins in early April and ends Labor Day weekend.
