Midwest League Managers

Steve Liddle

Two Midwest League seasons:

Playing Career

  • Drafted/Signed: Free agent, Angels, 1981 (David Lipscomb University [Nashville, TN]).
  • Professional Career: Eight minor league seasons, in the Angels and Twins organizations; mostly played at the Double-A and Triple-A levels
  • Midwest League: Never played in the Midwest League.

Management style

Liddle's a "little game" manager--his teams steal, they bunt, and they issue intentional walks. He's not extreme about this, but the tendency's quite clear.
