West Frankfort's Willis McDonald was the winning pitcher for the Stars; Ben Rossman took the complete-game loss for the Indians. West Frankfort's Earl Weaver (yes, the Earl of Baltimore) knocked in Centralia's Vince Allienello in the second inning for the game's only tally. |
