Midwest League 1996Team ProfilesJoel's Lugnut SummerI had season tickets for Lansing's inaugural season. These pages are a remnant of my effort to document that summer. Because these pages had a different audience than the rest of the MWLguide site, the tone's a little different. Notes on the teams in the Midwest LeagueThese essays were written as previews over the course of the summer; they are dated and were current on those dates. I was trying, with mixed success, to give some sense of the makeup of each team while the Lugnuts played them. These were honest efforts to describe the opposing team, but there are certainly mistakes, and misinterpretations, and misjudgments.
