Sources included Howe SportsData's daily league writeups, daily box scores, notes in Total Baseball's daily email newsletter, and other electronic media; paper sources included the Lansing State Journal, Baseball America, and Baseball Weekly. Since I did not see every day's reports, some worthy events were certainly missed.

The Midwest League plays Single-A, professional baseball in America's agricultural and industrial heartland. 16 teams play a 140 game schedule which begins in early April and ends Labor Day weekend.
