Brief game recap: The West won, 7-4. Kane County's Ross Gload was selected Star of Stars (Most Valuable Player); he went 3-1-1-2, with a double. Tom Shearn of Quad City was the starter and winning pitcher for the West squad. Matt Miller of West Michigan started the game for the East and was the losing pitcher. One homer was hit, by Lansing's Juan LeBron. The teams were selected by polling the league's managers. Except as noted, statistics on this page are through games of June 11. If the player's been promoted, I've shown the last stat line in my files. West TeamPitchers
