Pre-Season Profile

Manager

This is Jerry Terrell's third season as a minor league manager. Jerry's teams are fairly aggressive; they steal bases, and they sacrifice baserunners along. He's more likely than most MWL managers to call for an intentional walk, too.

Where they played last season

This is a brief portrait of how the team was put together. These summaries are based on the team's opening day roster and will not be revised to reflect roster changes.

Many of this year's Bees played for the terrific Bristol nine last summer, with significant contributions from last year's Bees and the AZL Sox.

Team League W/L Place Hitters Pitchers
                                        (Teams)
Winston-Salem Carolina (A+) 63/75 7(8) 0 1
Burlington Midwest (A) 71/68 7(14) 5 4
Bristol Appalachian (R+) 45/24 2(10) 5 8
White Sox Arizona (R) 23/33 7(8) 4 6

There was some movement in the White Sox organization last summer; a few of these players are counted twice in this chart. One of the new Bees did not play professionally last summer. None of these players appeared above Class A.
