Every summer, the Midwest League's mid-season festival honors the season's best players. The 2001 Midwest League All-Star Game was played at Dayton's Fifth Third Field on Tuesday, June 19. The Eastern Division representatives won the game by a 7-3 score; Michigan's T.J. Soto broke a 3-3 tie with a grand slam in the seventh inning.

The teams were selected in late May by the league's field managers.

• For the purposes of this game, the Eastern Division added Burlington. This selection was apparently made by a lottery.
• Lansing's Matt Bruback, Dayton's Braxton Whitehead, and Dayton's Eric Welsh had been promoted, and did not appear in this game. Chad Yates of Peoria was on the Disabled List.
• The managers (and coaching staffs) were determined by divisional standings at the mid-season break.
